The room was very clean and the staff was spot-on, they did everything to let us enjoy our stay. The breakfast was exceptional, everything is gourmet food. Spa was incredible, including the infinity pool.

All Waldhotel rooms are facing south and feature their own balconies or terraces as well as a relaxation areas with own desk. Equipped with high-quality furniture, each apartment at BellaRosa includes a kitchen or kitchenette with a dining area, cable TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. Location was the higlight. Nice tucked away village with awesome views. Morning and afternoon at the balcony with view of lake lucern were our highlight. Locationwise was perfect for our planned tourist visits. The hosts kept us informed of process and welcomed us next morning. Juice, water and welcome chocolates were a treat we were not expecting :) Bits in kitchen all there - including cooking oil. A little glitch on bathroom hot water was sorted very promptly. Heating was pretty good - we had to get the fan out - which was tucked away in the little loft room. Overall the place had a good chalet charm about - kids loved it.

The rooms at Engel Hotel feature white, empty walls, pine wood floors and straight lines. The monochrome bed headboards have built-in mirrors and halogen lighting. The room was immaculate with an incredible view, and one of the best hotel showers I’ve ever had!! The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, and the area itself was so peaceful and quiet, especially early in the mornings. We also loved the breakfast. We easily could’ve stayed for another 3 nights - we will definitely be back!

Hotel Villa Honegg was entirely renovated in 2011 and its rooms are decorated with leather armchairs and relaxing beige colours.

Boutique-Hotel Schlüssel is 10 km away from Lucerne and close to 13 different ski areas. This was such a beautiful surprise. Haven’t enjoyed staying at a hotel in a loooong time. The ladies who run the place are super warm and welcoming. They host all guests for an Apero in the evening (maybe was a Xmas thing, but I loved it a lot) the room is spacious, clean, warm, nicely furnished, has coffee and tea facilities and a minibar. Comfy bed and a couch to lounge on. The dinner at the hotel was spectacular. Very meticulously curated 3 course dinner and the lady chef put all her love and creativity into the dishes. One massive plus: they arranged a welcome corner for my dog with a bed and two bowls.
