The location was great and the atmosphere was really good.

All rooms at the accommodation are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The location was close to everything yet not directly in the main square area so there was less noise! The staff were incredibly helpful, giving us a full debrief on the area, answering all of our questions and providing us with free waterproof clothing for hiking. The hotel itself is lovely and the room we had was our favourite so far in Colombia. We had the whole top floor to ourselves and the room was impeccably clean and traditionally decorated with everything we needed. There was also free water, coffee and tea all day which is a lovely touch.

It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city in the countryside but is easily and cheaply accessible with regular jeeps.
