The host of this property welcomed me warmly and was so helpful and kind throughout my very short stay. I only stayed one night, with an early flight out, and the host ordered a taxi for me the night before which reduced a lot of my stress. The location is right by the airport, which is why I chose it. To all those on a budget, keep in mind - taxis in Iceland seem to be much more expensive than other places, and it cost $30 for a 10 minute ride to and from the airport. Public transportation didn’t work for my timing. In terms of the property, it is extremely clean, modern, and a perfect stay for a short night as a solo traveler. The host allowed me to use her fridge to store food, and was very accommodating all around. The room was small but served its purpose. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Charm Apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities, except for a dishwasher. Its close proximity to the airport made our travel convenient, which was a big plus. As a group of friends staying for just one night, we found it to be the perfect place to relax and unwind. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we would definitely recommend it.

The private entrance and plenty of parking made everything super convenient. The host was always available, incredibly kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The place was spotless, and I truly felt at home. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay in Iceland!

Lovely warm apartment with everything you need for the night you arrive in Iceland. Supermarket round the block otherwise a convenience store 300m away. Washing machine available.

The villa has a terrace, 3 bedrooms, a living room and a well-equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave. Towels and bed linen are offered in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. We travel often and I hardly ever write reviews but feel compelled to leave one for the hosts of this property. We LOVED these hosts!!!!!! Honestly, the best hosts we have ever encountered. Communication after booking, prior to check-in and while there was excellent and I could not ask for kinder, more prompt or attentive responses. We arrived on a very early morning flight with four children. The hosts were so unbelievably considerate and had an assortment of cereal and milk waiting for us. It's a great location to KEF and to the bridge between continents. Often photos will make a space look larger than it is but this home was very spacious for our family of six. It was very clean and very well stocked. If we ever make it back to Iceland we will definitely stay with these hosts again. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality.
