Unique experience all around & all together-being one with nature-the design of the glass cabin. Perfect temperature, layout, design, bedding. WE LOVED IT! No Kiwi SEEN by the cabin area but a walk down the main road resulted in a sighting! The STARS above you & it’s no dream.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Church Hill might be the most wonderful place we’ve ever stayed. The location, the hosts, the accommodation, and the food were all amazing. Exquisite attention to detail!

Nestled amongst peaceful native bushland, Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island offers spacious modern suites with kitchenette, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Free transfers to and from the airport and ferry terminal are available. True southern hospitality shown to us! Our bags were collected at the ferry and taken to our unit so we could get to our tour on time. Kaka Retreat was wonderful and we even had a Kaka land a arms length from us at the unit.

All modern apartments include a seating area with satellite TV and a kitchen with fridge, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms open out on a private balcony, with views of the bay or surrounding bush. The spacious rooms also offer free WiFi, electric blankets and individually controlled central heating. Our host Ted met us at the ferry on arrival (we had pre arranged this) and took us on a short drive to introduce us to Oban. Our studio was spacious with all the facilities needed for our 2 night stay. We arrived late afternoon to an already warm room. Views from the balcony of Half Moon Bay in the late afternoon sun were splendid. Fresh milk was provided and appreciated. The Motel is an easy walk to town and to walking tracks. Ted and Donna were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Ted gave us tips on a shortcut to Golden Bay and pointed us to places to eat. He also took us back to the ferry when it was time to go - then went above and beyond by delivering back to me my charger and cables that I left behind. We wholeheartedly recommend The Bay Motel.

The self-contained studio units are adjacent to the main hotel building. The older-style accommodation upstairs in the main hotel offers shared facilities including a communal guest lounge overlooking the harbor, which offers tea and coffee making facilities. A great hotel with a fantastic location. The room is better than the pictures with a fridge and small kitchen area. Highly recommended.

Butterfield Beach Studio Car petrol and breakfast provisions included is a recently renovated holiday home in Half-moon Bay, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, darts, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation offers free shuttle service and private check-in and check-out for guests. We loved staying here - the location was magical and the house was comfortable and homely. Everything was clean and the house was well set-up to self-cater. We appreciated Amanda meeting us at the ferry and giving us the use of a car while we stayed on the island. Amanda was very responsive to communication too. Highly recommended.
