Luis was extremely communicative and arranged pick up from the airport even though I got in at midnight. The apartment was lovely. He also picked me up at 7 am to drop me off for a shuttle but the place ended up being bad and so he offered to drive me to another safe location. He was very kind and helpful. Very friendly and helpful hosts! We booked 2 nights but ended up staying much longer as were looking to buy a vehicle. They were very helpful, as we dont speak the language. It would have been much harder without their help. Their rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a shared kitchen About half mile to Walmart, and not much further to City mall. The centre of Alajeula is about 1.5 mls- all easy walks. Very close to airport and lots of car rentals. I read the reviews before booking and they are all true -Maddie & Jav and super cute baby, are friendly, helpful and patient. We asked so many questions. We will stay here for our return journey home. Highly recommended! Thank you Maddie & Jav!

Zeus Guesthouse -Free SJO Airport Shuttle & Car Rental is a recently renovated apartment in La Garita, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The staff was extremely nice. They went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. The room was great and comfy. I would highly recommend staying here.

I timed it, and it took 15 min to walk to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alajuela has cool nights, so lack of AC was not a problem. Great budget option for late arrivals or early morning departures.

A convenient stay at the favorite hotel for travelers with complimentary transportation to and from the Juan Santamaria International Airport. Surrounded by a variety of dining options. We found the staff very helpful, especially the gentleman on reception (the bon voy man) in helping Neal contact customer service at the airport. We have some return trip which we look forward to. Also, the gentleman in the dining area was very helpful, guiding us to get a sim card.
