Luis was extremely communicative and arranged pick up from the airport even though I got in at midnight. The apartment was lovely. He also picked me up at 7 am to drop me off for a shuttle but the place ended up being bad and so he offered to drive me to another safe location. He was very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend

Such a lovely little stay close to the airport. We just stayed here for one night but she was super sweet and everything was really lovely.

The hosts are really super nice and the transfers worked like charm, also! I think just because of them and this place it does worth to visit Costa Rica! :) Hints: -To get good hot water for the shower, put the knob to the middle, then don't pull it to the maximum to have the biggest amount water, but until midway. At least this worked for me like this. -A supermarket visit and the breakfast was done in 20-25 mins, total. That is still a good option in case of a late arrival and early departure. Besides, - this is more a note to the hosts -: maybe a bit more amenity in terms of biscuit or similar would be good. Apart the water which was of course, also great to have!

Shuttle service was amazing, every single person there is so accommodating and kind. So close to the airport, would not hesitate to stay again.

Casa Carmen offers accommodations in Río Segundo, 10 miles from Parque Diversiones and 11 miles from National Stadium of Costa Rica. It was actually a very comfortable stay. The owner was very helpful. I timed it, and it took 15 min to walk to the airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Alajuela has cool nights, so lack of AC was not a problem. Great budget option for late arrivals or early morning departures.

A convenient stay at the favorite hotel for travelers with complimentary transportation to and from the Juan Santamaria International Airport. Surrounded by a variety of dining options. We found the staff very helpful, especially the gentleman on reception (the bon voy man) in helping Neal contact customer service at the airport. We have some return trip which we look forward to. Also, the gentleman in the dining area was very helpful, guiding us to get a sim card.
