Holiday Inn Express Málaga is the closest hotel to Málaga International Airport. It offers free parking and modern rooms with satellite TV and free tea and coffee facilities. 1) (!) The hotel IS accessible on foot, and you do NOT have to run across busy motorways or have any other adventures. From the moment you leave the plane, you have to walk for about 10 min inside the airport, leaving it at the parking travellator hall via an exit to a footbridge (on the left), then it's a 10 min walk outside the airport through some parking areas, under a footbridge and along a quiet Argonautas Str., at the end of which you will see a sign pointing at the hotel. Why pay for a taxi, if you can just google the detailed instructions for walking, as I did? (RU) Люди, сразу на месте разобраться невозможно, но если изучить вопрос заранее, туда можно спокойно дойти пешком за 20 минут! 2) The price for one night (in my case, 65€ on a weekday in low season) seems somewhat high, however, you get everything you should normally get at Holiday Inn hotels: an impersonal and comfortable room with a really good bathroom (hot water, excellent water pressure, shower and bath), kettle, tea and coffee facilities in the room, everything corresponds to the pictures at Booking. Actually, only a shower cap was absent :) 3) The buffet breakfast was included in the price, it seemed really nice to me, with hot dishes, fruit and veggies, plenty of juice to drink and a variety of cake to enjoy with your morning coffee. You will not stay hungry. 4) The young gentleman at the reception desk was very nice and polite, and he heeded my request for a quieter room. Though he said there were few rooms left, the one that was allotted to me was quiet indeed and I could sleep well. Thank you! 5) I did not have time to try out the Internet, as I booked the room only to sleep a night.

Very welcoming and helpful host! Ricardo provided useful info regarding places to eat etc. The apartment was comfortable, clean and quiet. Location was excellent if you want to stay near to the airport. We used public transport to get to Malaga city centre, it was quite easy, 30 minutes by bus.
