Located in Geneva and within a 1-minute walk of Palexpo, ibis Styles Geneve Palexpo Aeroport features a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to the airport which is a huge plus, particularly for an early morning flight. Getting to downtown Geneva with either the bus or train, using the free travel card, is also very convenient. TIP: To avoid wheeling a large suitcase all the way to the hotel, there are lockers available at the train station (between the arrivals area and Migros).

Currently the area feels like a building site (June 2023). It’s is very dusty at times and the pavement on the walk to the hotel was full of rubble, which wasn’t easy to navigate through with a suitcase on wheels. There is a lot of building work going on just outside the centre of town and it can be noisy for hotel guests

I was there for work but I had a chance to visit the waterfront for swims each day, and that is what I loved the most during my stay. There are public swim areas with showers and dressing rooms, and even small lockers, but you have to bring your own padlock. The cycle path network is decent, with some trails even leading through a connected web of small paths through gardens and courtyards.

Everything would have been perfect except for the faulty air-conditioning. I suggest you check regularly to make sure that all amenities are in order before renting out the rooms. We had an over-all nice stay

Just another cheaper alternative for Geneve on the French...
Just another cheaper alternative for Geneve on the French side. It's rather suitable to those, who need the airport, for all the rest you better choose Annemasse, which is connected much better with Geneve and has more to provide on its own either.

Its a beautiful city.
Its a beautiful city. Quiet and very safe. I was able to travel to other cities like Zurich, Zermatt, Laussane etc. All from Geneva although I feel that we spent more time on trains compared to if we staywd in Zurich.

I booked on the basis of easiest access to return a hire car to the French side of Geneva Airport and cost for three adults to stay overnight prior to an early morning flight. This hotel exceeded our expectations in what it delivers for the price. Friendly and professional mask-wearing staff (I believe Katalina?) who upgraded our room in respect of my mobility issues and (I believe Katarina?) who gave us a wonderful recommendation to a local restaurant for the best pizza ever. The room was clean and spacious enough for three adults, with one double and one single bed. Good shower, a window which opened, a desk, clothes cupboard. Based on previous comments re room size we were pleasantly surprised as the room, the caring and professional service, a very secure gated carpark etc all exceeded our expectations. Airport is a 5 minute drive away. Would highly recommend this hotel!
