An award-winning hotel located in Ayrshire, 5 minutes' drive from Prestwick International Airport and with easy links by rail and road to Glasgow and Edinburgh city center. The main building is very nice. The people are very nice. Very good service! Great breakfast buffet!
Very expensive, the food and view is outstanding. Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Maybe a small fridge in the rooms especially the cabins would help keep cold drinks especially on hot days. All in all if you can afford there prices it will be worth it.
There is so much to see and do around Ayrshire and beyond. Prestwick is a great location to tour about from. This property was near the train station and airport, and is ideally situated on the road network. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby or supermarkets if you prefer. It was a short walk to the beach and the golf course was across the road.
Thought we were going to a lodge but on arrival we were shown the lodge carpets were up and beds in lodge were separated and moved to 1 side and we were given a family room. No wardrobe just what u see in the picture below to hang things up. The lodge/ hotel shouldn't be opened it isn't up to standard that people see on your website. Radiator coming away from the wall. Curtains stained, kettle and t-spoons stained. Bathroom door u couldn't lock. Ower bought us drink as he didn't have any drinks on tap. Views out our room window wasn't great in photos below. Staff very nice but the place is needing a lot of TLC.
The owners of the cabin where excellent and exceeded expectation the cabin was flawless top to bottom no faults at all would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice vacation away the view was amazing and the place was so clean top to bottom flat screen tv was great. Owners go above and beyond for customers to make sure your stay is that not better.
Great hotel, fantastic value for money, clean and tidy in a wonderful location. Superb staff in particular Robert who after I had left something of great sentimental value in my room went over and above to get it back to me, posting it on his day off.
Lovely quiet, traditional Ayrshire town. Good cafes and restaurants. Easy road and rail access to other centres and tourist attractions, such as Culzean Castle and Alloway. Scott’s in Troon excellent for a special dinner and The Lido in Prestwick main street, a lovely spot for lunch. Barassie golf course good value for a day ticket. Accessible by train from Prestwick.
