Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Niranta Airport Transit Hotel - Inside International Airport offers accommodation in Mumbai. The property is located inside Mumbai international Terminal 2. Stayed for less than 12 hours as we were transiting through Mumbai. Location was awesome. Maybe 5 minutes after you exit customs (would be super if a sign was added by the elevator). Took about 15 minutes for our room to be ready as we needed 2 twin beds. Room was simple and clean with all of the necessities we needed for our quick stop: Water, toothbrushes and toothpaste, a kettle, etc. The a/c was perfect and not noisy and the room was quiet. Breakfast was delicious and well exceeded our expectations. everyone was kind and helpful! And then to get to departures you take a few different elevators with some twists and turns - maybe 10 minutes if you have to ask for directions mid way.

Such a magical indian aesthetic property! Lovely staff - always smiling and hospitable. From the entrance to the exit every staff greets you with so much joy! The housekeeping staff are so friendly! Kudos to Uwaiz - our floor leader who made sure to meet us in person when we were checking out and ensuring our stay was comfortable! Breakfast choices are nice but could be better as we were there for 10 days and we felt most of the items were repeating.

Location and Transport

Handling close to 45 million passengers per year, Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is India’s second-busiest airport. It is located 12 miles (20 kilometres) from Mumbai’s central train station, though the best way to reach the airport is by bus. Jump on the 312 service to Vile Parle (East), the 308 to Andheri (East), or the 321 to reach both. Otherwise, take an auto-rickshaw from outside the domestic terminals, or book a prepaid taxi—costing around INR 780—for a quicker service into town.

    weather in Mumbai is so hot, it's just unbearable sometimes. Mumbai is so costly city to visit. But I love food in Mumbai, it was so delicious. Must try Hotel Chaitanya at Dadar for seafood. Talking about places to visit must visit Elephanta caves. It was just awesome.

    Mumbai has a different wibe.

    Mumbai has a different wibe. A charming city with different flavours. Not sure whether 100's of flyovers is a corerct solution to address the traffic issues - because 10-15 years ago, we could comfortably go around Mumbai with lesser chaos. Now, it is confusing and more traffic-jams. Ofcourse, roads need better care - its Financial Capital look is waning away. Still Mumbai/Bombay-wibe is there in the air.

    The filth; the crowd and the traffic is a nightmare when you visit Mumbai. One is surprised that there is no epidemic here. People live in marshy lands infested with mosquitoes. The authorities does not seem to be working.
