We had a wonderful stay - the staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The location is perfect: peaceful and right on the quieter end of the beach (we slept soundly every night), with easy access to nearby restaurants and shops via a short walk along the beach or through the village. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, with a large bathroom and bedroom. A beautiful hidden gem!

The villa offeres your a fantastic view and you wake up with the sun rising over the Indian Ocean. The bed was super comfortable, the staff kind, friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to. The common lounge area has a well stocked bar and cozy seating arrangements and hammocks. Nearby you can catch dhow cruises with local fishermen.

Upon arrival at the airport there was someone waiting for us to bring to the villa. Although there had just been a cyclone (and the property was also hit by this violence of nature) we were compensated above expectations. Great management of the Bahia Mar family and people that will stay in the apartment I would definitely recommend multiple massages at the SPA (they are the best!)

The complimentary breakfast was a great start to the day with the ocean breeze and the staff was amazing. A man by the name of Wilson can show you amazing places that you might not know exists and knows everything about Vilankulos. My wife and i spent a lot of time with him as he showed us amazing views and treated us like gold. Very caring and knows how to to make us laugh and smile making our stay more than we expected.
