Etango Ranch Guest Farm is located just 10 minutes' drive away from Windhoek International Airport in a rural property. Very close to the airport for an early morning flight. But also a peaceful, quiet spot in the bush with the usual game to see. The dinner was both tasty and well-presented. We would have loved to stay and have breakfast, but since we were leaving the property at 6 am, we enjoyed a pleasant pre-packed breakfast instead.

Located in Ondekaremba, a 1-hour drive from Windhoek, Zannier Omaanda provides accommodations set within a 9000-hectare private wildlife reserve. I really appreciated the warm welcome from the staff — everyone was friendly and greeted me with a smile. My hut was clean and comfortable, and waking up to the sound of birds in the morning was truly refreshing. The food was also excellent; I really enjoyed my stay overall.

We arrived to a personal greeting for each member of our group. Gerda and Niekie were exceptional hosts. Their staff were very polite and accommodating as well. Their meals were good and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The mattresses really comfortable. Lastly, their attention to detail was very good and they were also helpful in other ways too. Can recommend a stay here.

Naankuse Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Windhoek. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a grill. We stayed in a Premier Villa and it was huge! Three big bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, plus an upstairs with a big table and a patio where we could watch birds and the occasional mammal. The food was great, huge portions or big buffet. It’s on a part of the game reserve with no dangerous animals so you can walk around safely. We saw ostriches, antelopes, hyrax and hare while walking or looking out our window. It’s part of a nonprofit that’s working to preserve and protect animals while working with the local community. We did the “Behind the scenes tour” which was really interesting and fun, loved the baboon walk! Really glad we stayed here!

Spent one of the best evenings at any Booking.com properties went to so far, as I was received like family by Chris and Chrisna. The food wasabsolutely delicious, the humour great, the discussions were interesting to get a flavor of Namibia. Conveniently located close to the airport, the large studio with several beds has its own kitchen, coffee machine, shower and a view to die for. What else to ask for, after a late flight into Windhoek! Chris picked me up at the airport after driving himself for an entire day, and it all felt like being taken care of by your own family. Fabulous experience, I recommend to all airport-goers!
