It'been a great and relaxing week at the Portofino resort in Marsa Alam. Staff are really nice and reception always available to help. The animation team is fun and engafing, with activities at all times. There are also many restaurants for all the tastes. Eventually, pools are great and sea is just wonderful with plenty of fishes!

Located along its own private beach, Gemma Resort offers views over the Red Sea. It features indoor and outdoor pools, and wellness centre. Several restaurants and bars are also available. We had an amazing experience during our stay at Gemma Resort. From the moment we arrived, Hazem at the Main Desk made us feel welcome, and his exceptional kindness and availability were present until the moment we left. He was always there to make sure we were comfortable and at ease. We were also very well taken care of by Mahmoud at the beach - always with a great smile - and the entire restaurant staff, especially Sameh at the beach restaurant, where we had lunch daily. Thank you all for your hospitality. A special thanks goes to the Submarine Diving Center, to our fantastic instructor Abdo, and his entire team for an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much for these incredible 7 days, Gemma Resort. We will definitely be back and have already started recommending you to our Portuguese friends. 10/10

Facing the beachfront, Pickalbatros Vita Resort - Portofino Marsa Alam offers 4-star accommodation in Abu Dabab and has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre. This is probably the best hotel we've ever been to. Not only is the hotel resort absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. It's got brilliant facilities. However the best thing about the hotel is the staff. The staff are the best we've ever had at any place we've ever stayed. Mohammed was our room cleaner and he was just brilliant. We loved eating at the Mediterranean restaurant because of the staff who just go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Not only that you can really get to know people and hear about their families and see pictures of their kids. Abdo and the other waiting staff have become our friends. The food was amazing! Everything was delicious and there's such a range to choose from. Mustafa messaged us everyday with details about what was on and we chatted about any needs and he checked in on us every day to make sure that we had everything we need and there was no problems. He even booked us in to gorgeous VIP meals at the different restaurants. When we arrived we were surprised with an upgrade to a sea view which was fantastic. We could hear the sea all night. The facility staff and the people who do the different activities were really friendly and chatty as welll. There was no pressure they just asked and if you wanted to have a chat that was fine.we met Temur who was doing the photography and I would thoroughly recommend going with him. We went scuba diving and that was brilliant and they organised it so well. My son had a really good haircut at the spa and the facilities there are really great and very affordable. Every time you sit down somewhere someone will bring you a cocktail which are delicious and there's food available all over the resort. Even when the weather was a bit cloudy there was plenty to do . We had come from Edinburgh and we were the only British people I think at the hotel which was perfect for us.

Sentido Reef Oasis Suakin Resort features a private beach area, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Marsa Alam City. Everything was simply perfect! Will be back ♥️

Pickalbatros Sea World Resort - Marsa Alam- "Aqua Park" has a fitness centre, garden, a private beach area and shared lounge in Quseir. A very beautiful hotel from reception until check out. Casa Mare Resort - ex, Royal Tulip Beach Resort is located near to Port Ghalib, 42 km from Marsa Alam. Ready friendly staff (Hamid 😀) Very easy to get to from airport. Food was excellent! Loved my room and view of sea and pool. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would come back again 😀

Facing the beachfront, Akassia Swiss Resort offers 5-star accommodation in Quseir and features a garden, private beach area and shared lounge. Everything. Kids had a blast in the water slides and we did too. Food is very good (would only have enjoyed more Middle East options). Location is beautiful. Everything is clean.

Seemingly part of the natural environment between sandy mountains and deepest blue seas is the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir. Beautiful room on the beach. Really comfortable, the food, staff and beach were all great. Sad to leave,
