This apartment is in the brand new 20+ story block that is called The Shore, in the centre of Kota Kinabalu. It is pristine,the double bed is very comfortable and there is a small lounge area with table and chairs and a small settee, it also has a very large flat screen, it has a balcony that overlooks the sea and allows you to appreciate the amazing sunsets.. it has everything that you could need. The location is right in the middle of the bustling town and just a 5min walk to the night markets and the The Waterfront which has numerous restaurants and bars.

We booked Sky Saffron on a friend's glowing recommendation from their stay last year—and it did not disappoint. The owners surprised us with a free upgrade to a larger room and acted immediately to fix our air conditioner when it broke—such prompt, caring service truly showcased their dedication. As first-time visitors to Sabah, we were deeply touched by the generous hospitality, reflecting the warm hearts of the Sabahan people. Sky Saffron itself deserves recognition—or even an award—for its outstanding performance: consistently rated around 8.4–9.0 for comfort, cleanliness, location, pool, free Wi‑Fi, AC, kitchenette and family-friendly amenities across 50+ reviews . From the upgrade, attentive service, and genuine warmth to the aparthotel’s top-tier facilities, this was a stay that was truly worth every ringgit—highly recommended!

    Convenient place to stay, close to the shopping malls (Centre Point Sabah, KK Plaza, Imago, Suria Sabah and many other mini shopping malls) and night markets. It's only a 5-15 minute walk from the Promenade Service Apartment. They even have a convenient store downstairs, a fast food restaurant, laundry that is available until midnight, and food stalls. The staff were very friendly despite the fact that they were packed with clients. They still serve the clients with kind hospitality and smiles.
