Best experience ever. What a wonderful pearl. We had the northern lights above the apartment. The house was fully equiped, warm and more than clean. And the host gave us and our daugther a tour through the stable. Full of information and storys about the horses and her family. In the night she texted us, that the northern lights had arrived. What a truly, warm experience.

Cabin on a farm next to horse paddocks. Loved looking out over the fields to the horses! There were over half a dozen foals and lovely to watch them gambling so close to the cabin. Very quiet, no traffic or people noise, only the sounds of birds, horses and the wind. Kitchenette well equipped with coffee maker and condiments, cooked a few breakfasts and dinners including a BBQ dinner on the third night we were there. Bathroom was modern and roomy. Krissa was a wonderful host, thank you for making our stay enjoyable! Excellent location to base ourselves for visits to Thingvellir NP, Vestmannaeyjar and Hveragerði for hot springs and horse riding.

The apartment is very well equipped. Owners were helpful and quick in communication. They really provide everything you need. The place is very cosy and comfy. Really good location for the golden circle sights but Skogar and Vík are not too far either. The town also has everything that you may need (grocery store, restaurants etc.). Iceland is wonderful but if Iceland's weather forces you to stay in for a morning or afternoon (and it will), you will be happy you booked this place.

The location is great, near an area where the lava flow met the sea. The property looks a bit discouraging from the outside, considering surroundings as well. Inside it is refurbished, all good. The room was very clean, nice, with good amenities. The commmunication with hosts was only via messages, one message received with a code and room number. Good that we did not require anything ! The price was very good, so some issues are acceptable.

Excellent location, lovely apartment and very friendly host! The apartment was spaceous and clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was big and had a washing machine and a dryer. And it was from a walking distance from the town center. We had a lovely time here!

This is a cosy house in a beautiful and quiet location. It’s compact, but has everything you need, including a good range of kitchen equipment. The accommodation has been tastefully decorated with local art and is very peaceful; we loved listening to the sound of the rain on the slanted roof. The hosts were so kind and truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even invited us over for tea and delicious homemade blueberry cake! I would thoroughly recommend Broddaborg Apartments to other travelers.
