I have visited different places in Sri Lanka, but this is the most comfortable of all the villas where we have been. I think its price should be higher because the service, atmosphere and decor are top notch! I would really like to come back here again, because you can live in this place. very nice and kind family, where you feel at home or visiting friends! Beautiful setting by the lake. Very clean spacious accommodation with several balconies. Wonderful hosts who provided a free kayak, let us use washing machine and shared their breakfast with us so we could sample rice milk. Just over 200 in tuk tuk to either train /bus station or the lovely beaches. Hosts even provide a list for you of local attractions, places to eat, beaches etc with map links. Very helpful.

This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. Thanks Dinesh and Tatta and whole family for a wonderful stay!

Its nice place, little bit far away from sea. If you're on motorbike, its not far. Like panoramic windows with jungle view. Has parking for motorbike. Quiet. Good owners, offering tea. I spent good two days here, and its worth its money 200%! Strongly recommended for budget travelling.

A very nice and helpful lady welcomed us to the property which is in a great location only a short walk to the town centre and beach.The room was huge very well furnished and spotlessly clean with a super-sized very comfortable bed.The house is only a few months old and is beautiful we enjoyed a very good few days there and will definitely stay here again when we are in Hikkaduwa highly reccomended
