Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

The former estate offers rooms in a Tyrolean style, some of which have a balcony. Additional pillows and blankets are available on request and at a surcharge. It's super quiet. Out with nature, you see horses and cows grazing in the distance. The views of the mountains are spectacular.

At the apartment complex, the units come with bed linen and towels. The best we enjoyed mountain view from our bedroom and balcony! Could even see Neuschwanstein Castle. Perfect location, few min walk from groceries and some restaurants, and the best just 3 min walk to saunas/thermal pools "Kristalltherme" - Thermal Baths Schwangau. Decent small parking area just next to the entrance made it convenient to bring luggage.

The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Sabrina (Host) was incredible. The views were amazing.
