Everything was absolutely flawless, the kitchen and baths were well stocked, just such an adorable place. We loved all the special touches, and Sarah was so responsive through our trip. We will absolutely be visiting again!

The apartment has a picnic area where you can spend a day out in the open. We stayed there twice, one night at each end of our two-week holiday in Donegal. We found it a great place to spend our first night after a long flight to Dublin airport (which isn't too far away) and also for finishing off our trip in beautiful and relaxing surroundings. On previous trips to Ireland we'd stayed at other places in County Meath on our first and last nights and they had all been really good but Rathgillen Cabin has become our favourite. Peter, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming fella so we's love it if he'd come to stay with us at our home in Bulgaria some time. And the village has a handy shop, a great pub and a wonderful cafe where we had our final breakfast befor heading home. We were also delighted to discover that Nobber was the birthplace of the 17th Century blind harpist. Turlough O' Carolan whose music we've loved for a long time.

The self-catering facility was the cleanest, the most comfortable I could have found. It was fantastic and to be recommended for anyone needing a place to stay near Trim, near Navan, or for a country rest.

The property is around 8.2 km from Hill of Tara, 9 km from Trim Castle and 12 km from Navan Race Course. Hill of Slane is 21 km from the apartment and Knowth is 24 km away. Amazing setup! Everyone on the premises was very helpful and friendly. Seeing all those amazing horses in the fields makes this one magnificent place to be.

We loved the beautiful rural setting but with close proximity to Kells. The owners were very friendly and their attention to detail was exceptional. The rooms and facilities were second to none.
