With a view of Gujo Hachiman castle from the upstairs window, this house and town are simply great. Quiet, comfortable, within walking distance of what you come here to see. The owner, Masahiro-San, will treat you like family, and his advice about what to see and where to eat is spot on. If you cannot carry your suitcase up the steps to the upper floor, you can bring the futons downstairs and sleep on the heated floor. We came here with another couple and we all loved this house and Gujo. Ask Masa-San to pick you up at the station, if he can he will! The great reviews are very deserving, if you like Japanese style living you will like Nomad Inn. The 6 am. temple bell will remind you every morning what another world it is here!

The location couldn't have been better! Located close to Osu Shopping Street, with many eateries nearby. Plus, the Osu Kannon Station on the metro subway was just a 10-minute walk away, making travel around Nagoya super easy. There’s even a minimart near the station, which was perfect for grabbing quick snacks and essentials. Additionally, we loved the cute board on the wall in the room that provided information about interesting places nearby, including shops, restaurants, and other attractions. It was such a thoughtful touch and helped us discover some hidden gems in the area! What truly elevated our experience was the staff. They were incredibly polite and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, whether it was providing local recommendations or addressing our questions.
