The room was amazing, with modern touches of luxury, spotless clean, spacious, awesome coffee, kid's felt at home with the streaming channels and Netflix on a big screen and the in room washing machine was a cherry on top of this 10/10 hotel. Really loved the stay at Private House Takayama – it felt like a home away from home. The place was very clean and had a very well-equipped kitchen which made our stay particularly enjoyable as we were able to make our own meals. (There is also a washing machine and dryer). The location is very convenient with sights, food options and supermarkets within walking distance. The hosts were highly responsive and provided very clear and useful information to ensure a smooth stay, including guidance on parking. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Takayama.

My partner took a leisurely walk to the Toyota Innovation Museum (25mins) and a Family Mart Located downstairs was great. Good size apartment for a family of 4 (including 2 teens).
