Welcoming drinks at the arrival, sparkling wine at the room. Spacious room with huge bed and even bigger pillows. Free access to the natural pools. As pools were too cold for us, we enjoyed the jacuzzi zone on the hotel roof. Breakfast was nice, with many fruit options and a nice view. Good value for money.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. I’m delighted to find this apartment, at a reasonable price. It’s very spacious and well equipped - the photos are totally accurate - immaculately clean and everything feels new. Located in Caniçal, the farthest eastern town - a charming town it is - less touristy - more down to earth, and genuinely friendly. The host is a wonderful example of Madeiran hospitality, and he was there exactly on time to help check in. After that, I knew he was available if I needed anything, but we had no contact other than a few text messages. There’s an abundance of good local restaurants nearby (one directly below the apartment) many specialising in a wide range of fish coming daily from the harbour (it doesn’t much more convenient and fresher than that) Comfortable bed, good quality sheets and towels. Free parking in the large car park next door makes it super easy if you are driving… and a bus stop across the road if you aren’t. Exploring the eastern end of the island, you will find one of the very few sandy beaches at Prainha. It’s an easy walk down from the cliffs, and loved swimming there! Overall, for me, next time I come to Madeira, I’ll stay here again!

The spot is in a perfect area in Funchal, didn’t even need a car because a lot of things were only a short walk away.

If you like to be in city center but no high noise this place is for you. Also if you are tall and have problems to find comfortable beds to sleep and showers with right high too you, you gonna find in this apartment.
