Loved everything! It totally exceeded my expectations. Outstanding view, great restaurant with attentive staff (try the Marillenknödel!), awesome breakfast, free parking, animal-friendly, lovely private beach with free rowboat and SUPs (and turquoise water!); and all at a great price. This is how you run a private hotel. Hats off to all staff! Thanks for a great stay and for the unexpected upgrade! (Booked single bed, got double! 😀)

Great place with magnificent views

Very pleasant facility, extremely helpful and competent staff. Great location, excellent room. The hotel facilities and rooms were extremely comfortable, functional and perfectly clean. The view from the room is excellent. Excellent sleep on a comfortable bed. The all-day diet was accommodating. There are many places to sit quietly with a view in the hotel and its surroundings. An excellent place for rest and relaxation. Parking near the hotel. Breakfast and everything from the menu were excellent. The hotel has a very pleasant family atmosphere.

Wonderful accomodation with absolutely stunning view- we usually have a dinner on our balcony, with amazing view (mountains, also a little piece of lake). Landlady Klaudia was super kind and pleasant and the breakfast was really delicious 🥰 We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely guest-house. We will visit you next time! Thank you 😊❤️

Lovely room with spacious powerful shower. Umbrellas and beach bag in the room for your use and beach towels supplied when requested. Private hut down by the lakeside with changing rooms and lockers for your use to leave your stuff. Excellent breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and bacon if you wish. Restaurant serves delicious food and all of the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming

Staff and the service was fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here. The location is amazing, right by the lake. You can do some lovely walks into the hills and around / on to the lake. You are in a great location to explore the other lakes near by, cable cars, waterfalls etc. it's a great base. The food and drinks at the hotel are delicious and I would highly recommend booking a table as it does get busy. We were here for 3 nights so after 2 nights we did eat out and there is an amazing brewery just up the road opposite who have a terrace and a lovely bar. They sell the local plum flavoured beer highly recommended. They also have a play area for the children it's literally a 5 mins walk maybe less. It's a lovely walk into steinbach village along the little paths and lanes to the church. There is a tourist information, play park and a nice Italian there too. The sunlougers by the lake are very comfy and we didn't struggle to get one. It was shame there was no where to get a drink at the lake. It looks like there is a little cafe for the camp site but it was not open. The flower gardens are beautiful, very well looked after. Everything was very clean. Lots of car parking spaces. The lake view room we had was spectacular. We added on an extra night as we loved the area so much and moved to a different room. This had a mountain view, which you could still see the corner of the lake. It was a bigger room and very comfortable. We would happily stay in either room again. The views were both great, the beds and sofas were also very comfy in the room. Nice touch having the umbrella for the unpredictable weather. We would certainly look to visit again.

I had an excellent stay at Apollo Achtquartier! The location is great—peaceful yet close to everything you might need. The rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect mix of comfort and style. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything—from local tips to special requests. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made a big difference and really elevated the whole experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-managed, stylish, and warm place to stay. I’ll definitely return!
