This is a pretty location in the countryside on a lake. We enjoyed the informal atmosphere and the restaurant service and food were excellent. It is easy to reach from the Danube cycle Trail.

Set beside a lake and the river Danube, there's nice woody lake walk right outside the door, the food was delicious and the owner was very attentive. Breakfast was delightful too. Very pleased we stayed here and would happily stay again. Nice cosy place with a warm homely feeling.

The house is beautiful and well equipped, the host has thought of everything. But really everything! The garden is wonderful. Close to the Danube, Schwallenbach is a very nice village. We had a great time here. 🙏❤️

We were moved to the sister hotel which was a great location right opposite where the ships stop. Frau Pichler is very welcoming and fun, the restaurant has a lovely garden area, staff is great, we borrowed e-bikes from the hotel, the room was nice, breakfast was nice, the whole package was just perfect
