Hotel Alpha Thun exceeded my expectations, the bus stop to thun train station is just outside the hotel. The lake is just a few steps away.The staff made you feel like family. Its centrally located and thun is such a magical place. The rooms are clean and fresh. A very wonderful hotel, the staff are all wonderful, without exception, and the owner of the place is beautiful in appearance and manners. I booked on the wrong date on another day and she tried to help us and helped us get in early and gave us an upgrade. The breakfast is wonderful and the view is amazing. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful place and I will definitely come back again.

The location is the best. The backyard is facing the lake Thun and Alps and the front is facing another mountain. Great view. The breakfast was nice and included in the price. The room was spacious enough, neat and quiet. The drive to town was also easy. There is bus stop right in front of hotel. The buses are convenient and easy to take.

We had an absolutely unforgettable two days here! The host couple were incredibly warm and kind, making us feel right at home. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and their hospitality truly made our stay special. We sincerely hope to have the chance to visit again in the future!

Apartment was spacious and clean. Kitchenette was well equipped. Big, comfy bed. Small terrace overlooking railway lines and lake. Easy check in and out process. Others have noted noise from the railway, but we didn't find this an issue at all.
