this was by far the best accommodation i have ever been to and deserves the best rating i have ever given. the family is so incredibly nice and tries to make your stay as good as possible. you can plan activities with them and all activities are free, whereas at other accommodations in the region you would pay a fortune. we also went to the famous sawa-i-lau caves, which was an experience. the food is incredible. the man knows how to cook and teaches you about fijian cuisine for just 25 dollars a day per person. they also try to show you the culture of the local people, show you nearby villages, schools and churches. an absolute experience! i can recommend this accommodation with heart and joy to everyone. it is not just an accommodation, but a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. vinaka and thank you for the great time!

The amazing location, very friendly and personal approach of the staff and the very comfortable and stylish decorated apartment. The welcome and farewell songs were the icing on the cake and really enjoyed the trip to the Blue Lagoon and positively surprised to have a massage included. Also liked being picked-up by small boat from the ferry.

What a gem of a place! I knew the journey to Oarsman’s would have taken a little longer but it was absolutely worth it! The water was one of the most beautiful sights to see and i think the best out of the Yawasas. There were always activities if you wanted or you could have simply just shut off and enjoy the serenity of the resort. The rooms were extremely comfortable and each room had it’s own lounging chairs and hammocks for extra relaxation. The food was lovely but the highlight was definitely the people. John and all the staff was so attentive and friendly and always there to try to make your stay feel extra special and comfortable. They were extremely welcoming and you could tell how hard they work to keep it at the standard that it is. Could not have been more happy booking here and the bonus was the cute doggies!

Everything was excellent and exceeded all my expetations. The whole resort feels like a big family and you feel very welcomed after you step your feets on the island. I traveled myself and it did not feel like it thanks to amazing people at the resort. The room, the food, the activities and everything else was perfect. The host (Lise) is the best, very welcoming and funny!! She will get for you everything you need and always with a big smile! Good homemade food as well, and pig portions! Go to the tea house next to it and take a massage, cheap and really good!! In the other side of the island there is the blue lagoon beach with a bar and shop were you can chill and see the sunset with a cocktail! Sunrise is in the beach right in fornt of the homestay, so wake up early and don’t miss it!! Forget about resort comodities, this is the real Fijian experience!!
