Maikai and his family were generous, kind and extremely accommodating, including us in welcome ceremonies and a family picnic. The room was great, spacious, private and clean. The location is right next to a village where the people are friendly and you can look around the kindergarten and get to know the people and round the corner from a resort too where you can do activities if you like. We had a great few days here and would’ve loved to stay longer. It’s an excellent homestay.

Beautiful homestay with the best food we had on the Yasawas. The room is quite new, it comes with a mosquito net and a spacious bathroom. The location is stunning, directly at the beach where you can do SUP or snorkeling. The owner and his family were welcoming us at the first evening with the traditional drink Kava, it was a surprise and a very nice experience. There were also kids who enjoyed joining us doing sports. The only thing that was a no go for us were the kids lurking through our windows when we were changing. But other than that, we would recommend it 100%!

Ideally located for diving, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Island offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and games room.

Everything! The location is stunning—beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, and lush mountains. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and made us feel like family. The food was fresh and delicious, and the activities (snorkeling, hiking, cultural experiences) were well-organized and unforgettable.
