At first we were disappointed in general, before we entered the hotel (far from the sea, behind the road). But then everything changed. A luxurious hotel, garden, pool and service from Nektarios (the owner). We got the best salad in the world I have ever eaten as a welcome, every morning cups of fruit of outstanding taste. We have never experienced such care from the hotel owner (!). An invitation to dinner in a non-touristy typical restaurant, the next day a trip to the mountains for a private party in the middle of nowhere! Nektarios showed us all the interesting places to go. He recommended the palm beach of Vai (the best of all, although there were a lot of tourists, but it was possible, you can climb over the rock and you are alone) and the deserted ones. So swimming in the sea was good in the end. It was an experience like staying with a friend, a friend who loves you. And we thank him (his wife and others) very much for these three days in his beautiful hotel.

centrally located, big room with a separate toilet on the first lebel, a bed and full bathroom on a second level, generous terrasse with sea view. in spite of being dead center it was quiet at night, free parking spaces nearby were always available. we enjoyed our stay greatly, I would choose this apartment anytime again!

The exceptional hosts, fantastic welcoming meal, amazing sea view, being away from crowds, close to nature, sea, original Greek home, cleaniness and tasty decor, plenty of space. We stayed 2 nights, and changed the plan to drive around during our stay, just to the good tavern 2km. Enjoyed swimming, being together, 2 sunrises, 2 moonrises and 2 sunsets.

The most gorgeous little house, spotlessly clean and steps away from all the bars and restaurants but so quiet at night. Such a relaxing place to visit and stay. We loved it!

I booked last minute as I was on the road & decided to stop. It's a nice apartment, large with everything you need. It's up on the old road to Zakros so great views. Nikos, Manoli & Giorgos from the Taverna at kato Zakros are helpful & super friendly, you collect the key from there.. Zakros minoan palace ruin is just down the road & walking to the gorge is easy. Great food there right on the beach, peaceful, traditional & good for the soul. I will return 😀..efharisto

EVERYTHING! The location was perfect, tavernas all around and very close, and the beach is in a 3 minute walking distance. Everything was thought for, there was more than you would need for the kitchen utilities, the outside area etc. overall it was perfectly equipped. There are multiple chilling areas on the balconies and in the yard. We were greeted by nice welcoming snacks and drinks.
