We, family from the Netherlands (boy 13 y and a girl 11 y) booked Oceanides Luxury apartments for one week (22 -29 july 2023 ). From the moment that we arrived we felt very at ease. The owner Nektarios is a born host. He received us with a heartfelt big smile after we drove from the airport in the late evening. Nektarios takes very good care of his guests and makes sure they don’t lack anything. He does take care for his guest from out of his heart. He is also very good with children as a sport teacher at school and as frontman of his family with four sportive boys and his friendly and sympathetic wife Kelly. Nektarios grew up in the Sitia region so he gives very good advice where the nice beaches in the region are, were to hike and what the good taverns and restaurants are for a great lunch or dinner. The children loved especially his cold milk chocolate which he made in the morning. Nektarios made them very happy with these drinks. Our children really wanted to stay longer when our week was over. But regretful we had to leave because we booked another place to visit an other part of Kreta. So we left with some melancholy and reluctance but with great memories! Thanks for the unforgettable week and the great hospitality. All the best and until next time!

Lovely room, very clean and great views. Staff excellent and very helpful. Much better quality than expected for a 2 star hotel, at least 3 stars I would have thought. Sitia is a wonderful place and this is the perfect place to experience it

centrally located, big room with a separate toilet on the first lebel, a bed and full bathroom on a second level, generous terrasse with sea view. in spite of being dead center it was quiet at night, free parking spaces nearby were always available. we enjoyed our stay greatly, I would choose this apartment anytime again!

The exceptional hosts, fantastic welcoming meal, amazing sea view, being away from crowds, close to nature, sea, original Greek home, cleaniness and tasty decor, plenty of space. We stayed 2 nights, and changed the plan to drive around during our stay, just to the good tavern 2km. Enjoyed swimming, being together, 2 sunrises, 2 moonrises and 2 sunsets.

The house is very authentic with plenty lovely items. Sitting infront of the entrance in the shade makes the stay very close to the villagers.

I booked last minute as I was on the road & decided to stop. It's a nice apartment, large with everything you need. It's up on the old road to Zakros so great views. Nikos, Manoli & Giorgos from the Taverna at kato Zakros are helpful & super friendly, you collect the key from there.. Zakros minoan palace ruin is just down the road & walking to the gorge is easy. Great food there right on the beach, peaceful, traditional & good for the soul. I will return 😀..efharisto
