Stunning location and outlook, walk straight out to the beach and swim/snorkel in the clear, clean water. Lovely architecture of the buildings, great attention to detail in the villa. Lovely pool and a beach swing out front. The staff were exceptional and the service impeccable. Very easy place to stay and relax. Almost no mosquitoes, wild horses a few minutes walk away. Could have stayed here for much longer! I wish I'd found this place earlier.

For us this was the perfect place. We arrived at Lombok airport late one afternoon, and the car and boat transfers booked through the accommodation were efficient and nice. We arrived late, when the restaurant was about to close, but were offered both food and drinks. The bungalow is right on the beach. It has a simple standard but is clean and airy. The breakfast was delicious, homemade bread and homemade towels as well as a number of other choices. Lunch and dinner also tasted very good. The snorkeling from the beach was absolutely great. At a distance of less than 200m we saw blue coral, anemone fish, lionfish and turtle. Not to mention the snorkeling trip with Marie. Absolutely fantastic. She was warm and sociable and did everything to ensure that everyone had a good experience. It was inspiring to see the joy she had and the effort she put into meeting all visitors. We hope that we will have the opportunity to come back on a later occasion (stayed in room 5, 3 nights July 2025)

My girlfriend and I went to The High Dive back in February and had such a wonderful experience. At the time, it was the end of the rainy season and we were the only guests in the hotel, but it also seemed like we were the only tourists on the island. It was so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. The hotel itself and the restaurant/terrace area is beautiful. We had one of the beachfront bungalows and it was really great. Warm, stylish design, big comfortable bed, a ceiling fan and A/C, plus a spacious bathroom. Everything we ate at the High Dive, whether breakfast or the main menu, was delicious! The highlight of the experience here for us was the staff. The team is mostly local from the Gili Gede island. They treated us with such warmth that it felt like we were hanging out with friends and it meant that the overall experience had a very personal feeling. They helped teach us some of the local language but otherwise could speak English well, so we felt very comfortable. We didn’t actually Scuba dive, but did a snorkelling trip for 1 day and loved it. We saw some beautiful, colourful coral reefs, had lots of fun with the crew - stopping on a nearby island for a snack, fresh coconuts, and Lombok coffee was really special! Otherwise, contact with Lisa was always quick, friendly, and easy - she was really helpful and made us feel very welcome!

Highly recommend this property. We stayed in the Family Bungalow and it was fantastic (kids age 8 and 6). Whole property is clean and tidy. Spacious room with x1 double and x2 single beds. Fans and decent mosquito nets. Private bathroom and large terrace/balcony with a dining table and coffee table with seating area. Variety of activities on offer eg. bikes, kayaking, badminton, volleyball, pool table, board games and more. Did a 4hr snorkelling trip and saw beautiful coral, lots of fish and huge turtles. Boat driver was happy, helpful and safe. Staff were kind and helpful and spoke good English. Food was great - kids loved the spaghetti bolognese and mee goreng, and we loved the curries. Staff helped organise our transport to our next location - Gili Air. Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was just amazing. The place has what you need to experience such a special island. Peace and tranquility are the basis of everything. The room is large and spacious and the outdoor bathroom is super. We stayed in a seafront bungalow and waking up in the morning looking at the sea from bed was priceless. The external gardens are well-kept and the paths are well lit. The beach and the coral reef in front are special and suitable for all levels, we even swam with turtles and seahorses. The staff is up to par, friendly and always available with perfect English (for us a special mention to Dede who has always been very close to us).

We stayed at Norman’s place by the Secret Gilis and also booked a private snorkeling trip, and it was absolutely amazing. The accommodation is cozy, very clean, and run with so much care that you instantly feel at home. The snorkeling tour was the real highlight. Norman knows all the beautiful spots away from the crowds. We saw turtles, colorful corals, and countless fish in a very relaxed atmosphere. He takes his time, explains a lot about the marine life, and makes sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Thank you, Norman, for your warm hospitality and unforgettable experiences.
