Everything about this place was great. Lovely staff, lovely location and lovely facilities. So close to the beach with the nicest sunsets and close to the surf. Tasty breakfast included and room service was ideal. The staff were happy to help us with anything. Really enjoyed our stay here. Probably the nicest place in Indonesia we’ve stayed.

Dream stay - on the cusp of a beautiful Long Beach, that is peaceful and almost entirely empty (except for a few surfers), with sound of waves. The hotel was amazing - the lodges are modern and were designed so well that every detail is user friendly. The food at the restaurant is amazing. The staff are all very nice and accommodating. Thank you for a memorable and such a unique stay!

I liked everything with this magical villa!!!! Perfect for either short or long stays in all ways. Matt, has been a very responsive, supportive host, and truly a great guy! The villa is fully furnished with great, comfortable furniture (the bed is awesome), Air Conditioning, fully fitted kitchen, perfect comfortable lounge with two bedrooms and two separate bathrooms with everything you need. An awesome restaurant is located right across the villa which serves delicious and great priced meals. The villa is also located right in front of one of the best surf beaches (Yoyos) in Sumbawa. And I really need to mention the cleaning lady, she is super cool (she speaks English better than I do...lol) and does an amazing job. Thanks a million Matt and the amazing staff for really an amazing stay! You guys are true legends!

    The staff was super nice and helpful. We watched out over the sea from our room and terrace. Castaway is (in my opinion) in the most beautiful bay. Surf is really close and there's basically nobody on the beach. Breakfast is simple but good: you can pick between eggs or pancake and can take some nasi/mie, fruits and bread from the buffet table The area is very quiet but there are a few restaurants close by for lunch and dinner.

    Construction going on and the bamboo gazebo had been pulled down which made it a bit of an eye sore! Stunning location right on the beach, close to many surf spots! You need a scooter or car to get around. The room was lovely, comfortable bed and air con was cold. Food from the restaurant was ok. The staff very accommodating and friendly. The dogs at the property were friendly and playful.

    Beautiful helpful staff, amazing location especially if you grab one of the two beachfront rooms, sand literally 10 metres away. Walked to Yoyos most days to surf, probably 15mins each way along the beach. Awesome sunsets and eateries a short walk away. Doesn't need a pool, the beach out front is probably the nicest along the whole stretch.
