The owner was an awesome person who is always happy to help you with whatever you require. The food was good with traditiinal Kerala cuisine adorning it. The beach was also close by at 300m walking distance.

White Shell Beach House is a lovely hidden gem a stones throw from the most beautiful beach. The staff were exceptional, the food delicious and we couldn’t have asked for a better location for a relaxing few beach days. Hope to be back someday!

We loved our stay at Raaga on the beach, a charming older style 2 bed 2 bathroom cottage 30m from the beach at Kizhunna – a mile of unspoilt palm backed golden sand washed by the Arabian Sea. There is a kitchen here but if you don't fancy cooking or going out yummy indian food can be ordered in for breakfast, lunch and dinner all served by wonderful Hussain, who also cleans up! Best of all is the roof terrace, with shaded eating area. Watch the sun turn red as it sets over the sea through the coconut palms. If you're looking for a quiet, independent stay in a little piece of unspoilt paradise by the sea this is for you. Good host.

The house is located right next to the beach in quiet, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The host is very helpful and suggested us both great restaurants to eat local food, we went to see local traditions and had a over all great stay. Highly recommended!

    Our room 109 was so spacious and we loved the private balcony. We extended our stay to 8 nights because it was so perfect. We could watch the waves crashing on the beach from our bed! The beach was pristine and just a few footsteps from the beach house. It was nearly empty during the week, but the weekend visitors made it a lot of fun. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Having coffee brought to our room every morning was such a treat!!

    The property is at a very good location and the view of ocean is unmatched. The rooms are very tastefully done. Really liked the overall color theme of the property. Staff is very helpful (especially the two North Indian Ladies from Agra who you will find in the Harbour Restaurant. They were very helpful and went out the way to share information about nearby places. The staff is very well groomed. I don't think there is any other property which can match the view, location, and comfort of State Beach Resort.
