The wellcoming from Sajeev and Vijayan was fantastic. We had access to all of the amenities in the house and they provided us with great advice to really enjoy our stay in Varkala. Sharing breakfast with them was great time to talk and learn a bit more about the place and ways to reach our next destination. The level of service was outstanding and they really cared for us during our stay in Madhav Mansion. We would highly recommend it! After active travelling I was looking for some relaxation time. And for that i found the perfect place. It's a bit off the main touristic area of Varkala and that's definitely nice. Really close to small calm beaches. And in 10 mins you can walk to the north cliff with many other restaurants and Ayurveda/Yoga-Places. Cottage super clean with good AC, very comfy bed, warm shower. Staff extremely nice, relaxed nad friendly atmosphere with everyone. Will come back one day.

We stayed at Magnolia Guesthouse with our kids at 8 and 10 and had a great time. We had two big connected rooms with good storage possibilities and a big shaded patio. The staff was very helpful, friendly and making fun with the kids. Good food in the restaurant. Nice pool and short walk to the peaceful Odayam Beach. We highly recommend it.

For the price it offers nice clean optimum sized rooms. A private beach is accessible from the property. Overall nice place to stay. There's a cafe near the property where you can eat and spend time by the beach.

The staff were exceptional. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was polite, helpful and friendly, especially the young men working in the restaurant (Amit and others). They are kind to local stray animals which means a lot to us! The room was clean, had a fan and AC. Well equipped bathroom with warm shower. Bottled water was provided each day which was a nice touch. We ate at the restaurant for every meal during our 2 night stay in Varkala and the food was delicious. The hotel is on a coastal walk with great sunset view points and sea eagles 5 mins away. There isn't anywhere to access the sea directly from the hotel but it is quite choppy anyway (August). You need to walk north for maybe 30 mins to get to a larger beach.

We were looking for a Beach view stay. The room was very clean and neat as they showed in the booking.com .The stay was very comfortable. The hotel management were flexible to explore the places on Varkala. They were available all the time to assist. Other Cafe & Restaurants are just in walkable distance along the shore.
