    Mayumi-san, the host was very kind and accommodating. This is my second time to stay at Ichie and I was not disappointed. I arrived earlier than check in time, but my room was ready so she let me stay. She gave me great information about groceries, restaurants and even the beach. I hope to come back again next year!

    Warm friendly welcome and perfect hosts. Lovely traditional Japanese house, good location to the beach for glorious sunsets, and close proximity to train station and buses for beginning Kumano Kodo.

    Probably our favourite place , bit of a walk from the station but worth it, fairly close to the beach park. Coffee house & traditional accommodation with little zen garden. Host friendly and gracious, highly recommend. Book Early . Good info for the Trail.

    Loved how we were treated by the owner - she really cared about us & did her best to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. The location was about a 15/20min walk from the train station, not far from the beach & the large 24 hour supermarket. Immaculately clean.
