Our stay at Ahu Bay was nothing short of exceptional. The property itself is breathtaking, set between two bays with panoramic ocean views that create the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious, and immaculately maintained, blending comfort with understated luxury. Dining at Ahu Bay was a highlight of the entire experience. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding — fresh, carefully prepared, and always cooked to perfection. The menu offers a thoughtful mix of local flavours and international favourites, each dish presented with genuine care and creativity. Every meal felt memorable. What truly sets Ahu Bay apart, however, is the quality of its staff. From the front desk to the restaurant and beyond, every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay feel special. Their professionalism and hospitality elevated the experience far beyond expectation. Very cosy family accommodation with friendly housekeeper and delicious meal. They arrange for us 3hours tour around village, surrounding view points, cinnamon farm and spices garden. Definitely coming back next time in Sri Lanka. Thank you

This is just the place if you are looking for a beautiful simple accommodation that is directly in nature with ocean. Ramesh and his mother are helpful with everything and make you feel like you are part of their wonderful family. They help you organise your trip and show a full effort to make your stay perfect. The breakfast is amazing, you get a huge portion of fruit, tea coffee, eggs and toast with Sri Lankan rice & curry. The property is in a great location, close enough to the beach. You are surrounded by nature and can see monkeys, squirrels and birds. There are great cafes and restaurants in the area. The family is so lovely and hospitable that you can't help but extend it all the time. They invited us to join traditional family celebrations which allowed a unique insight into the culture. The price is more than justified and I will certainly return to Villa 826 ahungalla on my next stay.

Greeted on arrival and let in to room. Welcome drink and cold towel was lovely. Staff at Villa Nilnara are amazinbgh. Super helpful. Breakfast was amazing. All cooked fresh on the premises. Room was very comfortable. plenty of space. There was a weird entrance area shared by the room above and they wanted to use our terrace area for coming in and out which was odd. So we had a word and they got funny about it. we weren't using their balcony upstairs!! Close to the beach. easy to get an uber and get around to Galle, Bentotam Balapitiya. Great partying in Haikkaduwa for new years. Big shout to Ranga who was super helpful throughout our holiday. Really made a huge difference.

This is truly a hidden gem. If you book Dinesh's place you will get what is in the photos but at the same time you will get sooooo much more that can't be captured by a camera. You get the honor of being accepted by a local Sri Lankan family as one of their own. This warm hearted family will go to extra lengths to make you feel like in a home away and hard to leave :-). Compared to tourist hot spots in Sri Lanka, Dinuli is offering a unique experience at a reasonable price. Bottom line is if you are after something authentic this is a place for you and not a hotel with 24 hour service. Apart from accommodation, beach is amazing and for a change you can actually swim without being slammed by huge waves. They are manageable. You will not make a mistake if you book Dinuli. Thanks Dinesh and Tatta and whole family for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful one night at this villa—fantastic surroundings, just a 2- 3 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend! While our room's AC wasn't working, we trust they'll fix it soon.

Amazing experience! Location is perfect for people who like to have an affordable and quite place for themselves in paradise. You will have your own beach and your own restaurant with mostly traditional food. Accomodation is basic but cosy, clean and comfortable. Room is spacious with nice bed, very good AC, cattle and fridge. Huge window with romantic sea view and bathroom is big and clean. Restaurant will serve you delicious breakfast, excellent fresh juices (ask for local kirala-mangrove apple with young cocconut), cold refreshments and tasty meals made with local veggies, sea food, chicken or pork. Place is run by local youth, so you might get a beach volleyball game with boys who will also help you to go around, rent a scooter, teach some sinhala. There is top ayurvedic center in close vicinity. Highly recommended!
