We arrived at Whisky point not knowing what to expect. All I can say is that it exceeded our expectations in every way! We ended up extending our stay and became great friends with the owner, Nicola and his entire team! The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were exceptional! It could be the best Pizza I have ever eaten in my life. The fact that you are living on the beachfront, which is super clean with no crowds and a few minutes walk away from Pottuvil Point where you can catch good surf when the swell is good or swim off the main rock when its flat, makes this place the perfect location, away from the madness of Arugam Bay which can get super crowded. You can catch a tuk tuk to A Bay and be there in 10 minutes if you want to go into the A Bay. I am going to miss this place and my friends and will be back for sure! 10/10 all the way!

Top location - close to the beach and Main Street but not too crowded or loud, delicious breakfast (every day different), comfy beds, air conditioning in the room, great value for money and superb host.

The hotel is SUPER! The best hotel during my entire trip to Sri Lanka (I was in more than 15 hotels in 24 days). Very cozy atmosphere. There are only 6 bungalows in hotels, it's not overcrowded. Delicious food, better than in the most cafes on the island. Very comfortable and friendly hosts! The pool is great! Everything is thought out - deck chairs, a place for sunbathing right in the water. The pool is surrounded of palm trees! It's about 50-100 meters to the sea. The only negative thing for lovers of flat water is big waves on the coast. Therefore, I spent 3 days next to the pool and absolutely happy about this! ))) But also it has a very beautiful sunrise! The room is big and comfortable, very clean. the stuff cleans the shared areas every day, and the private rooms by request. The stuff is very nice and polit! The resort is the closest to the ocean - I can literally here the ocean from my hammock, there is a private hammock for every room! I used the laundry service it was good, also fair price (compare to the town). There is an AC in the room. Its not too close to the city - and not too far, every thing is so close so you can get there by 2 minutes. and I like that distance! So you don't here the parties and firework during the night... Great WIFI! and a digital nomad and I could work from the room - there is also a table for the computer!

Beautiful sea views in a peaceful setting. The place feels private and is run by a lovely family who are so welcoming, kind, and accommodating - they really made us feel at home. The location is ideal if you want to be slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Arugam Bay, while still being just an easy walk into the main area. Would highly recommend!

Great place for stay relaxing. Beach front property and just 20 steps to the sea. All around many restraurants and bars. Reasonably priced, comfortable and spacious rooms with A/C. The owner and staff were always very helpful and kind. Comfy bed and very clean room and bathroom (toilet paper, soap). Relaxing balcony with hammock. Communication was fentastic. WiFi internet connection was good. Value for the stay!

Nice quiet place in the arugambay and yet close to the beach. The room was a sweet and clean, they are arrange safari also,great value for money. Love it!
