We recently stayed at a tented lodge for a safari night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience for the whole family. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The tents were beautifully set up, blending comfort with the authentic charm of being right in the heart of nature. Falling asleep to the sounds of the wild was both thrilling and peaceful. The highlight for us was the safari itself—our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making every sighting special. We were lucky enough to spot a variety of wildlife, and the kids couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every meal felt like a treat, and it exceeded all of our expectations. Sharing stories around the fire after dinner made the evening even more memorable. Overall, this experience was everything we hoped for and more. Our family left with full hearts, happy memories, and a strong desire to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical blend of adventure, comfort, and nature.

Great location for yala safari. Resort is stunning. Staff are kind and friendly and helpful. Spa was worth doing, I went at night so I didn’t waste the day at the spa. Gym was great. Pool was unreal. All the food was great. Great breakfast. I had a great stay and will be back.

Beautiful, quiet place away from other accommodations. You can walk from the garden to the ocean, which is clean and the view is amazing. The lovely owner and his family prepared a perfect dinner for us. One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed at!

Our experience was absolutely excellent in every aspect! The room was impeccably clean and comfortable, the meals were delicious, and the kindness and service of the staff were outstanding. The location is wonderful at the dune and right next to the sea. You can fall asleep to the sounds of the waves and nature. The property is not huge with only four glamping tents and you feel very secluded and private with the greeneries. The food at the property is also amazing! The curd made by the team was so delicious! The team is so kind and helpful. Especially Rimesh who took care of us so well during the stay and also during our full day safari. His knowledge of Sri Lankan animals and birds as well as his great personality has brought us a wonderful experience in Yala national park. We would definitely recommend nature lover to stay at this property as it really gives you a unique experience.

This is the most worthwhile hotel on our Sri Lanka trip! The photos cannot fully capture the comfort and beauty of the hotel! The wooden cottage we lived in was located in the forest and was very comfortable! The hotel and the other side of Jetwing Yala share a buffet and beach bar. The staff is very friendly! No matter what our needs are, the staff comes to serve us immediately. The food at Jungle Hotel is delicious! This is definitely a place worth coming back to!

My exhilarating trip to Sri Lanka was an incredible experience that will always remain in my memories. The pristine landscapes and beautiful nature of this country captured my heart. However, what made this trip even more special was our stay at Laya hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and also the place was very comfortable and quiet at night. We happened to be there during Sinhala and Tamil new year holiday, and we decided to stay an extra night to celebrate with them. We participated in their games and festivities, and it was a great new experience. We were even honored as special guests on the second night to stay in their brand new caravan.
