This place is te best. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom, nice patio in the sun, and the host Ibi is very welcoming. Good breakfast too! If you want, Ibi will cook a dinner for you too. The location is very good with nice, relaxing restaurants nearby. This place is much better than staying in Essouira. We recommend this place!

I was looking for some “me time”, not a surfer, just wanted a laid back peaceful place to relax in and walk along the beach. La Maison des Vagues is SO perfect for this. Comfortable, cozy, lots of different spaces, great food, fab staff, a pool and they can organize all the activities like surfing/horse/dromedary rides, quads, visits to Essaouira (recommend), yoga and massages. Really mixed crowd from families with young kids to groups of same sex friends, older couples and a few Moroccan families too - such a nice atmosphere, gracefully curated by Christèle and Christophe, with their right hand woman Soukaina who is ACE! Thank you to all the team for delivering exactly what I was looking for.

The cleanliness of the entire place is outstanding. Every corner, from the rooms to the shared spaces, is well-maintained, creating a fresh and comfortable environment. The shared kitchen is a fantastic addition, fully equipped and inviting, making it easy to cook and connect with fellow travelers. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful pool, perfect for cooling off and unwinding after a day of exploring. The sense of community here is incredible—whether you’re enjoying a meal together, sharing travel stories, or simply relaxing in the common areas, you always feel like part of a family. The team at Dar Iziki goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. Their hospitality is truly top-notch, always available with helpful tips and warm smiles. Wonderful location! A short walk to the beach, surf shops, corner store, cafes and restaurants. The apartment was beautiful decorated with traditional Moroccan surf style. It was extremely clean, comfortable, two bathrooms, your own balcony and a handy kitchen too. Our host and his friends were so kind and caring to all our needs. It has been one of the best places we have stayed as a family of 5! Highly, highly recommend!!
