Beach Hotels in Cenote Azul

We had an amazing two night stay! The beach in front of the property is gorgeous. There are hammocks in the water, swings, kayaks, paddle boards, and chairs in front of the water. The rooms are amazing and so comfortable with Netflix, air con, mini fridge, shower with hot water, etc. One of the best parts is being able to use the scooters to go all over town which is included. The property is out of the town but by having the scooters, it makes it easy to go into town. The property is super clean and the workers are very nice. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning and includes a sandwich, fruit, and pastry. It's basic but good. You get one coffee pod to make in your room per day which is good. If you want you can purchase more. Each day they also restock your mini fridge with two beers, two waters and two sodas. They also clean your room daily and the property is kept very clean. This was definitely a splurge for us but if you use all of the amenities it can be worth it.

The lagoon ! Unmatched blues! Spending the day in the water paddle boating was one of our best memories of recent times. Also the food was second to none. Coming from NYC our standards are pretty high but Siete did not disappoint. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The spa is a must visit

Literally a taste of paradise. Eduardo is an excellent host, sat with us and went through all the main attractions of bacalar including restaurants, food suggestions and tours. The place is absolutely magical and kept to the highest standards. The room is very spacious with a balcony overlooking the lagoon front. Eduardo also went out of his way to accomodate any requests we had and we really managed to relax during our stay. Breakfast is excellent and can be taken anywhere on the property. Kayaks were included, would def recommend a sunrise kayak ride. The rooms were spotless and the cleaning service was more than we could have asked for. The view of the lake and the sounds of the lagoon were spectacular to wake up to and return to at the end of the day. Cannot recommend this place enough. Genuine experienced hosts. Pictures do not do this place justice, 11/10.

The location, the staff, the use of the kayaks

We arrived very early, 6am and the hotel were very accommodating and provided us a room straight away. We had booked a room with sea view. The wi-fi was not working upon arrival and shortly after checking in we were offered a room on a different floor, the WiFi was working on that floor but the view from the room was amazing. I woke every morning to watch the sunrise during our three day stay there. I would definitely recommend a room with view of the lagoon. See attached pictures of sunrise. The staff have a basic grasp of English and it was more than my Spanish but they were very helpful and where we couldn't understand each other we used Google translate. We had meals in the restaurant, the menu was changed whilst we were there and compared to other places nearby the cost was slightly cheaper. There is a small pool and some seating by the lagoon, it was nice to sit by the lagoon and watch the boats go by and also there was a bit of a breeze there. It was very hot and humid during our stay so the breeze was much welcomed. Our room was a good size, we had two double beds. The air-conditioning was much needed at some times to cool down and worked well. There is a smart tv although we didn't really use this much during our stay. Taxi was arranged for us to go to the bus station when we were leaving. Overall really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, it was a 20 minute walk to where we had arranged a boat trip of the lagoon and less than ten minutes by taxi to a supermarket. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay if we visited again.
