    Still a great place to stay in Maputo, but didn't quite live up to our previous experiences there. The main attraction of this hotel is it's location, right on the beachfront and surrounded by good restaurants. On past visits to the hotel we could walk along the beach to restaurants and back in the evening, but not anymore.

    Right on the beach. Good security. Buffet dinner was excellent, lots of choice. Room was perfect, lots of space. Great bar service. Everyone was very polite. Some ladies appeared in the bar, of er, dubious 'working' arrangements. But they were friendly enough to chat to and I politely declined their suggestions.

    The location was very good. Right on the beach, with a beautiful view of Maputo in the distance. Private beach. The traditional Katembe drink is a must. Close enough to the Airport, but still out of the busy city.

    Opposite the beachfront with lovely ocean views, only the road separating the guest house from the beach!! Breakfast was excellent and the pool is crisp and clean! Rooms are spacious with brand new linen. The friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay even greater. The aircon in the room was a real blessing and mosquito nets in front of the windows allowed for fresh air during the night.
