This hotel is a fantastic choice for a beach getaway. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The beach is just a few minutes away, with great surfing spots within walking distance. The hotel also offers surfboards to rent. The staff is incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend :)

The location of the hostel is just perfect. Small cabins surounded by coconut trees. Its remote but you feel safe all the time. 5 min walk to the beautiful beach of Popoyo. Trent couldn't be a better host. In the morning you get an awesome breakfast with fresh fruits from the area and in the evenings Trent will explore the local kitchen with you.

They were such a lovely and friendly couple. They helped me with information about the island and got a really good lunch for the hike and an excelent breakfast. Totally worth staying here.

Best stay ever!! The staff is AMAZING! Basically your friends! And they help you a lot with everything, have a lot of activities going every day, so you won’t get bored. And have AC, rooms are clean, the common area have pool table and it’s just such a VIBE there! Love this place!

Highly recommend staying here for a longer duration. It was close enough to several beaches, either by walking or easy shuttles, but was also quiet and secluded. The location itself, as well as the spaces within the hotel, are beautiful and set up with a lot of intention. The owner was friendly, informative and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here if you're trying to surf, explore or if you want sunrise yoga and to reconnect quietly. You are close to several restaurants as well as on location kitchen who are extremely accommodating.

Spacious studio in a small, well maintained complex. Pool and BBQ much appreciated. A little walk to the beach and town means quiet at night, away from the clubs and bars.

The eco-friendly Surf Cabañas are just so beautifully designed with only local materials. It’s was so laid back, relaxed and very close to the surf spot at Playa Maderas just down the hill. There have been three Cabañas when I was there. Every one has its own special touch and they differ in size. All well thought, fully equipped and a great way of to enjoy Playa Maderas, San Juan del Sur and the whole costal area from a peaceful retreat. Communication with Victoria and people in charge was easy and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend for solo, couple and friends travellers.
