While I have nothing against larger resorts I much prefer the charm of a boutique stay and Corazon de Baler more than delivered on that front. Our spacious terrace room was tastefully decorated with a couch and large kitchenette that made it feel more like an apartment than a hotel room. The huge sliding doors exposed the incredible ocean view as well as gave quick access to both the plunge pool and some great surf breaks. Owners Mark and Cora as well as their staff were amazingly friendly and helpful making our stay the highlight of an amazing month long Philippine vacation. I highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

The staff set up a 59th monthsary celebration with wine, balloons, cake, flowers, and rose petals. Was really well done! Thanks to the staff for all of your effort! All of the staff is very helpful and makes it a comfortable stay. The pool has a great view of the ocean! Also took home some coconut jam and peanut butter which are very delicious.

This place perfect for our group. We had originally booked another accommodation which was not to our liking, but thankfully Playa Azul was only walking distance from this and had been what everyone in our group was looking for. The rooms were spacious with balconies and breakfast was included each morning. We greatly enjoyed the use of the pool and the sea was just 5 steps away from the entrance. This place was also walking distance to numerous bars and restaurants and there would also be street vendors every night where we were able to eat authentic Filipino street foods and bbq. Overall, the rooms, locations and staff were great and couldn't have asked for a better place for our group.

I love everything, what more do you need in Baler? This is the perfect accommodation for out of country tourists like me. The staff were super accommodating and very warm. The location is perfect for those that came here to surf as it's nearby sabang beach, just a few minute walk and you're set. The room was clean and I was given a free upgrade, what more can I say? My time in the Philippines was made better because of this place. A thousand times better.

Simple and everything had all we needed. Location and pool privacy were the main attractions for us. Great location close to beach and they had their own restaurant. Self contained and spacious.
