We spent the first part of our holiday in Ayvalık in Nilüfer Butik Otel and this stay really made our holiday special for several reasons. When planning our holiday we were looking for a quiet and unique hotel by the sea where we could enjoy our first holiday in three months since we got engaged and this hotel was exactly the type of hotel we were looking for! It is a small family owned hotel, very cozy, located by the sea. It has this cute garden right outside the breakfast area and the whole vibe in this place is just right. We felt really good taken care of by Ahmet and his family and would recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a flawless experience in Ayvalık with a genuine and personal touch. The overall simplicity and comfort of the place make you feel like you’re visiting your grandmother’s summer house, but with the added touch of an experienced team providing top-notch service. The restaurant is exceptional, offering not just typical hotel meals but a true taste of Ayvalık. The dishes were carefully prepared, and at breakfast, the regional olives and cheeses were beautifully presented. The beach is calm and well-maintained, with special services for guests with pets. We’ve experienced pet-friendly services before, like in Switzerland during a ski trip, but D Resort truly stands out as a pet-friendly hotel. One minor issue we encountered was that areas designated for guests with pets during breakfast and by the beach were sometimes taken by other guests who found those spots appealing. I don’t know why 😁 However, the staff quickly resolved the issue by finding us a new place. The service quality is top-notch, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The sea is warm, and the sandy beach is perfect for families with young children. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bungalows come with large gardens and balconies, providing a refreshing and open atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place where you can swim peacefully, avoid large crowds, listen to the sound of the sea, and enjoy a gentle breeze without being overwhelmed by noise or crowded activities, this is the perfect spot. It’s an ideal, peaceful retreat for families with little paws.

Loved to wake up to the sounds of roosters! The room had a pretty wooden ceiling, windows on two sides. We left them open during the night and felt amazing with the breeze. Located close to the markets and restaurants, the whole area is so beautiful. Breakfast was set up in a garden, we enjoyed eggs cooked to order, selection of cheeses, olives, pastry, honey, jam and so much more. Thank you!

I have been a guest before, so I knew what to expect. I like the location, it is quite secluded and there is no tourist hassle. Parking is easy, though on a dusty field and 200 m away from the entrance. The hotel offers Half Board and the breakfasts are exquisite. Dinners used to be a little better last year, but are still very good. The hotel has a private beach, two pools and a large seaside garden area. The overall feeling is of real relaxation and serenity.
