What can we say about Mahi Mahi? We will never forget the four beautiful days and nights we spent there. Perfect, peaceful location, away from the crowds. Near the village, where you can go around exploring on foot (do it & support the local community!!) Stunning view of the ocean, delicious food, abundant breakfast and very good choices for lunch or dinner - prices of the restaurant more expensive than what you find in local restaurants nearby but still quite affordable. All of the dishes delicious - congratulations to the chef, who btw took the time to come and meet us :) I tried the "chef's special" everyday during breakfast :). Clean, spacious rooms, you wake up and sleep hearing the sound of the sea. Now THAT is a memory to hold on to during winter. Amazing service - thank you Sifa, Skola (special thanks for the on-the-go Swahili lessons to my wife) Justin, Ilias, and I'm SO sorry I forget the names of all the other nice people that made our stay so wonderful, we thank you all! We liked everything about this hotel. The staff is supernice and helpful at all times. They helped us with several activities outside of the hotel during our stay. The pool area is beautiful, the restaurant is cozy and the rooms are always clean. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant everyday and it was great. Don’t forget to ask for ”today’s special” when ordering dinner. Once again, all the staff are great but a special thanks to MJ and Lissa. If you’re going to Jambiani make sure to spend a few nights at Zen, you won’t regret it! All the best from Elin and Jonathan.
