Excellent place to stay. nice breakfast (they’ve started including breakfast in their stay for free). Dorms and private rooms have great AC (although don’t expect an eskimo room when it’s the middle of summer, the ACs across Zanzibar take a beating then). This is a chilled hostel with a stunning pool area where you can relax and read a book. It is NOT a party hostel, which is exactly what I was looking for. Mohammed (the host/owner) is a really nice guy and goes out of his way to make his guests feel welcome and helps with booking activities and rides to anywhere on the island. About 95% of the guests, including myself, extended their stay.

Amazing staff. Super friendly and caring 24/7. Quiet hotel with a few spacious rooms, each with own big balcony and spectacular ocean view. Recommended for people who like to stay in cozy places, a bit outside of busy neighbourhoods.

I had a wonderful stay at Villa Bluu for one night in Jambiani, Zanzibar. The customer service was excellent, the accommodation was great, and the scenery was fantastic. It was a magical experience, and I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. This is definitely a place for honeymooners!

I would highly recommend this place to stay. beautiful bungalows on the beach , the sound of the waves in the morning when you wake up, friendly staff, amazing food , lovely swimming pool. I have been to zanzibar twice before and i can say that this place is the greatest place to stay the vibes are amazing the people there are really friendly and the staff are really nice I highly recommend for solo travels to visit the place

Everything was amazing. Couldn't ask for a better place for our holidays, very relaxing, close to a calm beach but also with a nice pool for those low tides hours. The restaurant is very convenient and well priced. As we had the half pension option we had dinner at the restaurant every night and glad we did have it. Strongly recommend staying at Kupaga for a worry-free, relaxing vacation. We will definitely be back.
