Our host Esline was super nice and kind, giving us an upgrade and inviting us for a delicious dinner prepared by her. The housekeeping lady Lina and his family are so nice and sweet and they made our stay amazing. Ginger the dog is very nice too :) the rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped, right in front of the villas there is a nice and accessible spot for swimming (there is a wreck too), when the sea is calm it is a nice place to snorkel. Stuart helped arrange our airport transfer and boat taxi. Bani dropped us at our own beach outside the house and Rebecca met us with a big smile and showed us around the house. The house is well stocked. We are a cooking family and was great to have sharp knives and a good range of kitchen equipment. Bani took us to the market for fresh fish and grocery's. Well worth it. A well positioned base to see the sights with a great dive operator a few doors down.

We had an amazing time during our 5 night stay at Aore Island Resort. We booked a beach bungalow and could walk straight from our porch to the (coral) sea. Special compliments to the staff as the food was really tasty using local products (so many different ways to use coconut in dishes) and included for example lobster, lamb, ribs, sirloin steak and vegetarian pumpkin pasta. Also, the complementary evening entertainment was amazing (water dancers, kava tasting, local music & songs). Lastly, we also really enjoyed the free bikes to explore the island. Thanks a lot Lisa & Brad for sharing your beautiful Vanuatu paradise with us.

Fantastic experience in a beautiful location What a beautiful place to unwind. It felt like we had our own private waterfront where we could swim or snorkel while exploring the stunning coral reef. I couldn't believe how crystal clear the water was and what a perfect temperature it was. If we weren't in the water there was a lovely sheltered deck where we could sit and have drinks or eat while looking at the beautiful water views. Alternatively we could explore the gorgeous rain forests on the island without having to worry about snakes like we do in Australia. Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating. Lovely people who made us feel so welcome. We loved the bungalow we stayed in. We can't wait to come back although we will have to wait a few months as they are booked out for a bit.

Our stay at the Bombua Beach House was incredible—so much so that we extended it! Our bungalow was designed to give maximum privacy, with a kitchen and a private pool outside. They also have a great restaurant with delicious meals and cocktails. We really enjoyed talking to Ash and Stacey, who can arrange any trip for you or give you the right contacts. The hotel’s location is great—it’s close to town and not too far from the attractions in the north. We also went snorkeling right in front of the restaurant, and the reef was really nice.

Our stay at the freshwater Plantation farm stay was absolutely amazing! The bungallow is so beautiful, it is situated directly on the beach and has an amazing sea view. They also have a super nice restaurant, with delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Try the chicken Parmiggiana! We really enjoyed the evenings with Vini and Klaas, to talk about interesting topics by a glass of wine. We did the diving at the coolidge, while we stayed at their accommodation and they drove us every time and picked us up. We also went snorkelling, right in front of the bungallow and the reef is pretty decent (we even saw morey eels and lion fish). It grows back slowly after the cyclone.
