Meedhoo
The Villas are set along the East and West coastline, with the Sunrise Villas on the East, and the Sunset Villas on the West. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk, and free Wi-Fi access throughout the villa and outlets. At the resort, all the rooms along with an Oceanview. have 40-inch LCD televisions, Air-conditioners, Coffee and Tea making facilities, a Minibar, toiletries, and a safety deposit box. After reading some of the reviews, we were a bit worried, but for no reason. We had a wonderful stay and the resort is value for money (about 1800 Euros, Sunrise villa for teo, 9 nights, all inclusive). Villas are lovely, spacious and comfortable (we were upgraded for free to a Sunset villa because the sunrise side was flooded - thank you, we loved going for an afternoon dip in the sea directly from the room!). Staff was amazing, so hospitable and friendly). Special thanks to Mohamed Shiruhaan, our waiter at the restaurant, Mausoom from housekeeping, Dama and Deepthi at Dhoni as well as the amazing staff at the reception who assisted us with the internet for a professional meeting when the wifi was down. Hotel grounds are beautiful and allow one to feel immersed in nature while walking or cycling (free bicycle throughout stay). To move around, one can also call for one of the electric buggies that arrive very quickly (or hail one down from the ones driving up and down). The resort island is narrow, but quite long. It is connected to the local Island via a bridge, you can cycle there with the bike after signing a liability form at reception) if you want a more authentic experience. Food at buffet restaurant: wide choice, also for vegetarians and vegans. Some variety over the week but there's so much to choose from that you don't get bored and are happy to find same dish the day after again (the Indian corner had delicious curries; the soups were yummy). Choice of alcoholic beverages including around 6 cocktails at the three cafe-bars (wine and beer at restaurant). Without all-inclusive plan, eating/drinking are at N. European prices- cocktails around 9, spaghetti and club sandwich 9, mains 25-35 Us dollar at beach bar), closes 18:00). Saw only one creepy crawly; some cute salamanders and lizards.

Maradhoofeydhoo - 1.6 miles from beach

Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is parking on-site and the property offers an electric vehicle charging station. Addu, the southernmost atoll of Maldives and the only one across the equator is a special place to visit. And it’s made doubly special by 3S and its awesome staff. Mr. Atheef, the ever pleasant and helpful manager and his staff will do everything possible in their capacity to make your visit special. 3S overlooked a small strip of beach which has now been extended which makes those special night strolls under starry skies memorable. The rooms are impeccable and the in house dining caters to every taste. Where the beach ends, the snorkeling begins and we saw some very awesome sea life including manta rays and turtle not to mention the colorful reef fish. And where the snorkeling ends, the private island of Hajara, walkable to, across the reef during low tide, will make the holiday an affair to remember. Mr. Atheef and team setup an umbrella with tables and chairs and brought in food and drinks for our own Maldivian picnic on that island. Snorkels, Bikes and canoes were supplied as and when needed. He also organized a trip to Addu park and Koattey beach, a must visit site on the north of the atoll. By the way this is the only island where a long 15 km road connects the various islands of the atoll. But he took it one more level up by organizing a special trip to the southernmost end of the island which needs special permission and escort vehicles to get to that place. Literally called Southernmost point, it’s the last point at the southern end of Maldives. A truly magical place. Finally he rounded it off with a dolphin watching trip on one of the Dhonis. A must do adventure and more fun if the sea is choppy. Overall the stay at 3S and the experience was one of the best trips I’ve taken ever.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I loved how they communicated the ease of traveling to Addu City. Before this trip, I never realized how accessible it was, as Male is so heavily promoted as the main gateway to the Maldives. Traveling from Almaty to Addu via Colombo to Gan International Airport was seamless. They were very clear about the three weekly flights from Sri Lanka to Gan, helping us plan our trip for the best value and duration. Honestly, the trip felt too short because the welcome to the island was so warm. They even gave us a quick introduction to the island, making us appreciate just how authentic this city is. Be warned—this review is full of realizations! Addu City is like a hidden gem, not heavily touched by mass tourism. Not many tourists roaming around the island, but we've seen tourists who are staying in the resorts in the city visiting on local tour every day in the noon. Before Sri Lankan Airlines started direct flights to Gan, and with the previously high cost of flights from Male to Gan, Addu wasn’t really on the tourist map. But now, they’re truly focusing on tourism with many guesthouses opening up. We researched and discovered that Meedhoo offers a relaxed tropical beach vibe, while the other connected islands, including the capital Hithadhoo, have more of a city feel with shopping and fine dining options. EVERYONE WHO LOVES TO EXPLORE A NEW MALDIVES HOLIDAY WITHOUT TOO MANY TOURISTS ROAMING AROUND THE ISLAND SHOULD COME HERE. THAT'S A FACT!! Meedhoo feels like another local tourist island, and we stayed at Charming Lodge. It was a fantastic choice! They offered free bikes, snorkeling equipment, and other activities arranged directly through them. The rooms were very luxurious yet affordable, with tropical touches like wooden interiors, clean and white bathrooms, and cozy seating areas. And a centered playground, They had a great balance of comfort and style, perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Comfy bed and large room with private bathroom. The staff (Ashfan) was very diligent and helpful to get me settled. He spoke excellent English and had a good predisposition (helped me find a dive shop, bus schedules, etc).. The property is very close (400 metres) to MTCC ferry in Feydhoo (about 2 kms from Gan International Airport). Very clean. Large common area for TV and small very basic kitchen.

There was a system in place to handle every aspect of our stay there and so I rate their organization very good. The staff were courteous and the manager even went out of his way once to drive my wife and I to a location while we were waiting for the usual beach buggy
- The woman running the restaurant across the street was very kind. She handles guest house bills. - The air conditioning worked. Beyond that, the Clove Beach is not what is advertised on booking.com. None of the amenities are in existence. It is on main road, not beach. With no shops or other places to spend time. It is what it is - a low price bed.
Fabulous location and really helpful friendly staff. Loved the snorkeling beach. Great selection of food every meal.
Very nice and comfy beach houses, excellent food, helpfull and super kind staff, eco friendly attitude... and there is Didi which takes you to see dolphins at sunset, don't miss that!
The property was pretty and well kept. Our room/Villa was fantastically spacious and I loved the detail of the vase full of water to wash one’s feet after walking on the beach!
