Itzel and all the staff were very friendly and made sure we had a great stay. Our room was large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. We really liked having a kitchenette and cooked many meals in our room. The front desk had a hairdryer that I could use for the duration of our stay. I was very happy about that. They also have irons, microwaves, and bottled water. We checked out beach towels and an umbrella to use at the beach. The pool area is clean and relaxing, We took the elevator to the 6th floor rooftop and watched beautiful sunsets. The beach is a short easy walk away. The downtown plaza is also an easy walk, either through the streets, or down the beach.

The hotel has a fantastic staff and an awesome rooftop garden with beautiful pools and a hot tub. The bar and restaurant have great cocktails and food at reasonable prices. The concept, feeling in the middle of the jungle, the eco-friendliness of the hotel, the simplicity of everything, location was very quiet (as opposed to downtown sayulita). The hotel really invites you to disconnect from everything and enjoy nature. Everything is very self sufficient yet there's someone to help you if needed. They offer plates, pots & pans in case you want to cook. The pool was nice.

In the morning, from our room, we saw whales in the bay. We walked down to hotel basalto for breakfast. However, there are facilities here to cook. Just across the street is the main entrance to the beach. Its perfect white sand. The pool is also very relaxing! We had lunch at barracuda restaurant (so good!). Our room was clean and perfect for two people! The A/C unit kept us very comfortable at night. Highly recommend this place!!!

Also, the location is great to walk to the centre of the town, it’s a 5-10 min walk, so the location is really important if you have a car, you can park in the street and the neighbourhood is quiet and extremely safe at night! In the same street you have two small restaurants for breakfast and an amazing restaurant for lunch and dinner Sur 38. I would highly recommend to stay at La Boheme and we will definitely come back.
