The cottage was perfect with the most comfortable bed I have slept in so far in Namibia. Jessica and Peter are absolutely amazing, so welcoming and my daughter loved playing with their little son. Jessica helped book a catamaran tour at late notice and we were also very pleased to get our laundry sorted here. We loved the family atmosphere and all the animals. Thanks for having us! Situated within 100 metres of North Beach and 2.7 km of Atlanta cinema in Swakopmund, LA CASETTA BED & BREAKFAST provides accommodation with seating area. La Casetta was very conveniently located to the center of town and just one street away from the beach. The rooms were basic, but had everything we needed, including a mini-fridge, a microwave, and an electric kettle. The rooms only came with hand soap but luckily we brought our own shampoo and body wash so it was not an issue. Hands down the best part of our stay was Buks, the owner. As two women travelers driving in Namibia, we asked his advice about safety, safe areas and dining locations. He even let us know about the local custom of tipping official parking attendants which we were unfamiliar with because it does not exist in the US. After leaving Swakopmund, we also inquired about the safest refueling stations on our drive to Otjiwarongo, which was very helpful.
