We had an incredible holiday stay at this guest house, especially during our visit to Tomorri Mountain! The grilled meat was mouthwatering, the bathroom was luxurious and impressive, the sheets were unbelievably soft, and the view from our room was absolutely stunning. It made our stay truly memorable. The building itself is a piece of art. The room was comfortable, nice and clean, although it would have been nice if it had windows (attic room). The hosts were super-nice and the location is great, close to the old center.

So long as you're relatively fit, the steep climb through Mangalen is well worth it to enjoy the historical splendour of this area. The accommodation is not far from the top, where there are open top cafes/restaurants with panoramic views. Further below, several more restaurants (especially like the one with a wine bell). The property overlooks Berat new town with its huge and busy promenade. The owner is a professor who has studied Albanian history and staying here encompasses a lot of that history. The hosts are lovely and passionate about their Albanian heritage. The room has a very comfortable and large double bed, with good aircon and wifi. There is a communal lounge with tea/coffee making facilities.

Great stay, room was completely new . Host was very kind and helpful . Apartment is in 15 minutes walk from city center , with very quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend this stay .
