I recently stayed at B&B Het Wouwe for two nights and I had an incredible experience. This property is a perfect location for people participating in the BRM 400: Herentals(BE) – Alpen(DE) – Herentals(BE) as it's just 3km away from the starting point. Additionally, the owners of the B&B are incredibly nice and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. The facilities at the B&B were awesome, especially the ability to park my car in the garden and even charge it while you are cycling. The breakfast was delicious, with a different selection of cheeses and yogurts from the owners' farm, along with tasty bread. I even received a lovely omelet as a bonus! Overall, my stay at B&B Het Wouwe was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area.

A very nice and well equiped room, the host John was on hand to welcome us and show us around the room and facilities it offered. Nothing was an issue for John and infact offered us some local advice and upgraded us for a cost breakfast (Deluxe) which was just perfect and wholesome. John was infact more than accomdating as he allowed an extra mattrass to be added to the room for our stay. I would definetely return.

The property is very beautiful and is set in the countyside so is nice and quiet. The breakfast was outstanding all the mornings that we were there. The bathroom had an amazing shower with lots of space and the bed was huge and so comfortable. There was also a fridge to store a few groceries in too. A TV, kettle, and a hair dryer are also provided and there is plenty of parking if you drive......and the hosts are really nice too!

B&B Tantine in Retie provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area.

We decided to stay within a short drive of Turnhout in quiet surrounds. B&B Tantine is a gem, the property is surrounded by stunning, peaceful gardens, everyting is immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean. The centre of Retie is nearby Our room overlooked the garden, room was compact and well appointed with comfortable beds. Internet worked well. Breakfast is delicious and included eggs and bacon if desired, we especially enjoyed the locally made apple juice with lemon and ginger. The dining area is beautiful and I also enjoyed reading outdoors in the garden. The owners who hosted us were gracious and friendly. We noticed many people cycling in the area and this would be a perfect location to explore the area. I wish we could have stayed for more than 2 nights.
